Canada & the UK Trade after Brexit – how it’s going

The UK-Canada Trade Continuity Agreement entered into force on April 1, 2021 – preserving preferential market access for both Canadian and UK businesses.
The UK and Canada launched negotiations on a new Free Trade Agreement in March of this year, aiming to bring benefits for both countries and strengthen a trading relationship already worth over £19 billion in 2020.
