The Food Development Centre is dedicated to meeting the demands of agri-food business – doing what it takes to help your company succeed. You have the ideas and opportunities. We have the equipment, expertise and industry links to turn those ideas into successful food products and ingredients.

Our facility is federally registered in Canada, which is a benefit for companies planning to market out of province. From research and development through testing, labelling, and packaging, the Food Development Centre can help you bring your idea for a food or beverage product to market.

The Food Development Centre works together with Manitoba Agriculture’s Food and Agri-Product Processing Branch to help take your product to the next level.

The Business Development Specialists throughout the province offer consulting services, workshops, training and access to trade shows that will help you:
