Entrepreneurs wear sleep deprivation as a badge of honour and started a trend to make others believe that they need to sleep fewer hours to appear as committed, focused and determined. We did a month long mental health challenge in partnership with Checking in and one word that was most used by entrepreneurs was ‘tired’. Studies have shown that sleep deprivation is directly linked to various health outcomes like increased risk of cardiovascular issues, depression, anxiety, obesity, and injury as well as a poor sense of judgement. Studies also show adequate sleep improves physical and cognitive performance and even improves overall mood.

It’s high time to prioritize sleep and include healthy sleep habits in your regular wellness routine.
