“MEDIA RELEASE: October 19 Proclaimed Chamber of Commerce Day in Manitoba“
WINNIPEG – October 18, 2022 – The Manitoba Chambers of Commerce (MCC) and Honourable Cliff Cullen, Minister of Economic Development, Investment & Trade, are proud to proclaim the third Wednesday in October as Chamber of Commerce Day in Manitoba.
This 2022 provincial proclamation kicks off what will be an annual celebration of chambers of commerce and boards of trade, highlighting their valuable contributions to our provincial economy for 150 years.
“As the umbrella association for the province’s 64 local chambers, the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce has had a front-row seat throughout the pandemic, witnessing incredible agility, strategic thinking, and tireless grassroots support for the business community,” said Chuck Davidson, President & CEO, Manitoba Chambers of Commerce. “Our chambers navigated some very complex issues, yet they continued to offer vital information and practical support to members, without missing a beat.”
