Another example of Canada working closely with our international partners to ensure trade and stability for our businesses and workers, during this time of crisis. Canada and 41 other World Trade Organization – WTO members have signed a joint statement to reinforce our commitment for rules-based multilateral trade, and not to impose export restrictions or unnecessary barriers during this critical time. This will help ensure Canadian companies have predictability in doing business around the world, and ensure Canadians can continue to access essential goods and services amid COVID-19.
