Announcing The First Nigeria – Canada Investment Summit, Abuja

The High Commission of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to Canada presents its compliments to the Canadian business community and has the honour to announce that, as part of the High Commission’s efforts towards deepening the trade and investment relations between Nigeria and Canada, the High Commission, in collaboration with Prime Essentials Development & Investment Ltd. (PEDI), is organizing the first-ever Nigeria-Canada Investment Summit (NCIS) as follows:

Theme – Fostering Strong Business Partnerships into The Future.
Venue – Shehu Yar’Adua Centre, Central Area, Abuja.
Date    – 5th to 6th November 2018.

It is important to further inform that this Summit, will focus primarily on: Agriculture, Mining, Power, Infrastructure, Financial Technology, Aviation, Housing, and Energy sector opportunities. This is in line with President Muhammadu Buhari’s economic diversification policy. The aim is to take interested Canadian businesses to Nigeria, to see first-hand, the bountiful investment opportunities available for them to take up. His Excellency Professor Yemi Osinbajo, GCON, SAN, the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria will present the keynote address and open the Summit in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital city. The Vice President is the Head of Nigeria’s Economic Management Team and so his involvement is significant.
