It was a privilege this morning, June 24, to meet with the
Hon. Jim Carr, Minister of International Trade Diversification Canada, at the
Canada-Israel Bilateral trade roundtable. Thank you for inviting Africa, via my
modest person. Thanks also to the Trade Commissioner Service, Global Affairs
Canada.
It was a good time to hear your views and good vision on the diversification of international trade. While Israel has a head start on Africa in terms of trade with Canada, ECCA-MB, Canada / Africa Trade Mission, is also slowly advancing for trade with Canada, and even one day with Israel, why not!

Canada-Israël Panel- Rencontre du Ministre Jim Carr à Winnipeg
Ce fut un privilège ce matin, 24 Juin, d’avoir rencontré l’Hon. Jim Carr, Ministre de la Diversification du Commerce International du Canada, lors de la table ronde organisé sur le commerce bilatéral Canada avec Israël. Merci honorable pour avoir invité l’Afrique, via ma modeste personne. Merci aussi au Service des délégués commerciaux.
Ce fut un agréable moment d’entendre vos points de vue et bonne vision sur la diversification du commerce international. Certes, Israël a une longueur d’avance sur l’Afrique, en matière de commerce avec le Canada, mais ECCA-MB, Echanges Commerciaux Canada/Afrique, avance aussi à petit pas pour d’éventuels échanges commerciaux avec le Canada, et même un jour avec Israël, pourquoi pas !
